Add Irish to FacebookA great way to practice your Irish is to use every day computer programs through the medium of the language. You can change the language settings on many programs that you may use frequently such as Facebook, Google, Windows and so forth. It’s a great way to integrate your language study into your every day routine and your sense of familiarity with the programs can add in understanding the vocabulary. When you come across a word you don’t know, you can simply look it up on an online dictionary such as focal.ie or irishdictionary.ie. In this article we will be looking at how to change your language settings in Facebook.

 

1. To begin, select ‘Account Settings’.

2. Under Language option, choose primary language as ‘Gaeilge’.
