  1. Thanks very much for this. I’ve been trying to read “Mo leabhar de scealta on mBiobla” – a really good Irish book for ‘children’. If you don’t have one ask a Jehovah’s witness for one when he/she calls or make a request online for one here; http://www.watchtower.org/gc/index.html.
    But I’ve struggling reading it because of the very little Irish I’ve retained from my school days 40 years ago (when it was leathered into me). Being Dublin born and not having lived in a Gaeltacht area the hardest things are how to pronounce some words. I am specially grateful to you speaker who explained about the different pronunciation of neamh (as in Ar nAthair ar neamh) because I never pronounced it his way and so then I just got lost. So when he explained I then remembered I used to say it more like ‘neav’(phonetic) and not ‘neow’. Informal but very informative lessons so thank you very much for your help.
