Lesson 8: I have & I have not

In this lesson we will learn how to convey the meaning ‘to have something’ in Irish. You’ll learn about the preposition ‘ag’ and how to say ‘I have, you have, he has, she has, we have, you have (plural) and they have.’

If you have any questions you can email us at info@easyirish.com or even via our Contact Us page. We will be delighted to hear from you.

    Dia daoibh a chairde,
Just a quick note about a wee mistake on this lesson. On the earlier PDF and Mnemosyne download text file it read, ‘Tá madra aici’, it was wrongly translated as ‘She has a house’ as it should be ‘She has a dog’.

We have since corrected this and our thanks goes to Kathleen for highlighting that for us. Go raibh maith agat.

    Apologies for any confusion,

    Jarlath.

Still an issue in the text file

“Tá punt aige. He has a pen.”

    Tá peann aige.
